Shadowrocket Tutorial (Recommended)
Introduction to Shadowrocket
Shadowrocket is the most popular utility app tailored for iPhones and iPads that ensures all internet traffic navigates through proxy servers. Shadowrocket uses algorithms to optimize connections to targets and bypass geo-restrictions.
Using Shadowrocket involves two steps:
- Log in to the Apple Store and download the Shadowrocket app;
- Configure our proxy nodes in Shadowrocket.
You can search for Shadowrocket in the Apple Store and click to download (as shown below)

Detailed Setup Procedure
Open Shadowrocket, and you will see the default Home page as below:
Note: If the page is displayed in Chinese or another language, please go to the bottom right corner, click “Settings（设置）” -> “Languages（语言）,” and choose the language that suits you.
2. Click “Config” at the bottom to enter the configuration page:
3. Click the “+” icon at the top right, and the following page will appear:
4. In the “Download from URL…” field, enter the URL received in your email and click “Download”:
5. The page will then show a prompt indicating the node has been downloaded successfully with the word “Success” displayed:
6. Please click the “Home” button in the bottom left corner to return to the homepage. You will now see many servers represented by flags:
7. Click the “Not connected” button at the top to switch it to the “Connect” state. The system will automatically select the best server for you (you may also switch servers manually):
If this is your first time using a VPN, the iOS system may prompt you with “Shadowrocket is installing a VPN configuration profile.” Please click “Allow” to complete the installation process successfully.
NOW, you can use our VPN to browse the internet freely!
Note: Please do NOT casually change other default options in the Shadowrocket app, as this may prevent you from accessing the internet properly!
