After walking 15 to 20 kilometers a day, she reached Xi’an, China, in November 2024.
During her journey, she traveled through 14 countries and was warmly welcomed by locals upon entering China through Xinjiang’s Irkeshtam Pass. She shared the hospitality and friendships she formed along the way. Camarotta explored over 20 cities in seven provinces in China and documented her travels on social media, aiming to showcase a modern, vibrant China to Europeans.
